Review: Great experience - I should start with the fact that I'm an experienced rider having owned about 10 bikes thru the years. My first lightweight bike was a Schwinn LeTour Luxe I believe, in about 1979. The Schwinn GTX2 was boxed for shipping better than average in my experience. All the parts were present. The front rotor was already installed and runs true after assembly in the suspension fork/caliper, which was already adjusted to match. I simply tweaked the cable to obtain 1/32 clearance. Flat bar assembly was just standard install/tighten. Both rims are very close to trued, not worth adjusting further. The rear caliper/rotor required tweaking, easy. Then the surprise, both front & rear shifting was right on the money, smooth shifting out of the box. The pedals are clearly marked for R/L as well as on the cranks. I can't imagine PC putting the wrong size pedal post in there but everyone's experience is unique I guess. The seat is above average quality, I wouldn't switch it out. I should also say that the 30" measurement is accurate and does translate to "S" as advertised. The handlebar sets about 2" higher than my personal bike because of the suspension fork, making the bar feel a little taller when the seat height is way low. Personally I wouldn't like it that way. When I tested it I set the seat 6-7" and was happy with it relative to the handlebar. The seatpost is non-adjustable and the seat is angled rearward, so replacing it. Now for the dumb thing I did...I bought the wrong size, intending to surprise my wife. So I will resell & try again, only "XS" hybrids are rare on desertcart. How 'bout it desertcart, do better on selection maybe?
Review: A True Hybrid - Great value, smooth shifting and beautiful bike. Durable aluminum structure. Great for bike novice riders. I recommend bringing your bike to a local bike shop for minor adjustments and fine tuning after assembly. Unfortunately, thru my experience this brand (Schwinn) does not come ride ready out of the box. Otherwise, you will appreciate the cool, comfortable, smooth ride it offers.

**Q: 5.3  inches tall what size bike**
A: Not this bike. You need a small frame (15-16 inches) and smaller wheels.

**Q: What height person is this bike for? it says 16"small frame size in description, but someone else mentioned it is 28" so I am confused.**
A: You're right, bike jargon can be a bit confusing at first. The hybrid tire is 700c (metric) which converts roughly to 28" in diameter. 16" is the frame size (the measurement from the seat post to the bottom bracket). Another helpful measurement is the standover height (30"). You can view a photo image of this standover height by clicking on the last photo on left side of the bike. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does the bike have a quick release rear wheel?**

Great value, smooth shifting and beautiful bike. Durable aluminum structure. Great for bike novice riders. ### ⭐ It's Junk Don't do it !

It’s ok, a couple of items to consider. 1. This bike does not have a handlebar stem. It has 3 rings held on by the riser bolted directed to the front fork. That means it comes at the max height adjustment, and you can only adjust downwards by around ¾ of an inch by removing rings. 2. The drivetrain is the most disappointing part of the purchase. I didn’t realize how cheap Shimano has become with all the plastic parts. Nothing was preadjusted; I guess a machine just assembled the parts. Several of the adjustment screws were extremely loose and some were so tight I thought I would strip them trying to loosen them up. It took quite some time to try and get the sprockets adjusted and I never really got it to work though the full range of gears. I feel sorry for folks who are not mechanically inclined because out of the box it’s really bad. 3. Several of the diagrams in the manual are inaccurate and don’t match the hardware installed (e.g., adjustment screw locations). Also, some of the adjustments needed are not in the manual (i.e., brake calipers). 4.Cannot get the shifting to work correctly. Followed the directions verbatim several times. Now I am going to have to pay a bike shop $100+ to do it.
