The war had started by the time he received it. I was able to find this company online and have been following them on instagram and facebook. Their factory was destroyed in bombing and they have rebuilt it. The cookbook itself is nice. I think I would have liked a different kind of paper but it is a binder so you can add more to it. The craftsmanship is beyond compare. When I took it out of the box, I was taken aback by it's beauty. Well worth the money and the wait (it took about a month to arrive). This one will be for all my regular recipes. I plan on ordering another one to hold all my instant pot and crock pot recipes. I will be able to choose a different wood color and title to easily identify which book I am grabbing.Need I say it? I completely LOVE this book!!!And a note about the seller.... The book arrived and a few of the tabs were bent and the rings (the binder) didn't fit well together. I contacted the seller to send me new tabs and rings (which I was going to replace myself). Instead, they sent me a whole new book.
