We bought 14 different style and type of raised planter boxes. We bought only one of this unit, and it was much smaller than the rest. It was FAR more difficult to assemble than any of the other units and resulted in broken plastic at the corners. The connector pieces did not fit well and came apart during assembly. When I inserted the pins into some corners I had to push so hard that previously assembled corners would come apart. This is the only one of the planters we bought that I would recommend against.

I needed to elevate my tomato plants this year. Most of the options I found were big and heavy, required more demanding assembly and were $$$$$. I finally came up with the idea of ordering 2 of these to stack. The cloth insert for holding dirt didn't impress me, even for a single one on the ground. (4 stars because I had little faith in a piece of cloth attached with sticky strips holding it in place being able to withstand the weight of soil and plants, especially when adding water.)  I was able to get a thin board base for both at a local home & garden store, which they kindly cut to size for no additional cost. I inserted these after assembling the first 3 sides of each, in the convenient ridge on the planters' interior near the base (had to cut the corners to make it work). Then finished by attaching the 4th side with the inserts in place. It was some extra effort, but worked brilliantly. I've stacked them and just filled the top one with soil for planting. The height is just what I needed and it looks like a success!

Easy to assemble.  ALL THE HOLES DO LINE UP, regardless of what others are saying.  We've purchased SEVERAL of these, and every one has been the same.  Assembly takes all of 5 minutes after you've done the first one (and/or read the directions).
