Easy to store, easy to prepare, and great flavors from all the Mountain House meals I have tried. If I was a backpacker I may be a bit concerned it would turn to dust if not properly packed but then, backpackers know how to deal with that issue. They make a good effort to achieve the Teriyaki taste but something isn't right with it. Maybe it's just my taste buds but I prefer other flavors. Making it is easy provided you have something to measure 1 2/3 cups of water to boil. Or you can just guess and have your soup too thick or too thin.
