The cord seems well put together, heavy duty, and likely matching the claimed specs. The only way to know for sure would be a destructive test (cutting it in half to check conductor size), which I’m not going to do. I am using it to get a little more length on the cord for my table saw while doing some work in the shop that necessitated moving the saw a bit far from its designated outlet. For this purpose it has worked just fine, so I feel like this was a good product choice.
