But it has a very big drawback, it comes loose very easily so that it slides from my dog’s neck if he tries to pull backwards from me. Not safe at all to walk him on the street with this kind of collar because he gets usually scared from the noise of the cars. I don't recommend it unless your dog's neck is so big that the collar feels tight at its maximum size without need for adjustment.Edit: I used this collar for one year, just because I still like very much the design and started to use an additional harness to walk my dog in an easier and safer way. Eventually I noticed a comment from Dutch Dog Design to my post saying that the problem has been solved. After contacting them, they sent me a replacement free of charge with no need to send back the original one. I was a bit skeptic at the beginning but to my surprise that was true. They have replaced the buckle buy a much safer one that prevents the collar from sliding on it, so that I have never seen again the same issue. Now I am a happy customer. Congratulations to Dutch Dog Design for making use of customer feedback to improve your products! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and looks great on my dog *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2014* I have a female black/red German Shepherd who looks best in various shades of blue, but then people think she's a boy! People already think she's a boy because she's a German Shepherd so I wanted a collar that would look great on her but wouldn't be too "masculine." My next choice was red, but plain red just doesn't pop on her as well. This collar solves all my issues with collar color selection. With the advantage of vibrant, saturated colors like primary red, primary blue, and primary yellow contrasting against the monotone white and black, the collar not only appears bright and noticeable on her, but is also a great gender neutral, unisex collar. It doesn't hurt that my art style tends to be more geometric with contrasting colors!Aside from the colors, the collar is very well made. The buckle is heavier-duty than most other large collars I've used in the past and the nylon is smooth and tightly woven. As for durability, I can't speak for everyone as I use this collar solely to hold my dog's tags.
