Well made lead
This is a great training lead or for letting your dog have a little more freedom at the park, beach, etc. The extra thickness for this leash works well with my 65lb dog. It took her a little bit to get used to it, but once she got the hang of it she really enjoyed the extra freedom to explore at the park, and it saved my arm from being pulled everywhere that she wants to smell. Worth it!

Good length for keeping control of pups-in-training
I use this every day for walking trails or going to the park. It is sturdy and it has held up very well. It is perfect for my active, curious and agile puppy who loves to dart after birds or butterflies, and investigate every hole or search under every log or hedge. I can stay on the path and let her scramble without having to follow her into the weeds, creeks and shrubbery.

Works wonderfully but gets stinky and knotted
I needed a long line for my 65lb German Shepard mix to work on recall and to let him have some space when I take him into the yard to use the bathroom. This one is really great; it gives him a lot of room to run around when we're outside, is easy to hold onto, and is strong enough for when he gets too excited and runs to the end of the line. The only downside is that it does get very stinky and gross from when it gets in the dirt and mud around him. I throw it in the wash, but the smell does stick in there, especially in the spots where it is knotted up. Everything else about it is great, though, and it's pretty inexpensive, so the stink isn't a big deal.

great for training and walks in the country
While many people use flexi or other retractable leads, I rather use a long line like this... nowhere near as dangerous, and it's loads easier to hold on to (no chunky handle... my hand is too small to hold onto the huge flexi lead handle, and even with this lead all bundled up, it's smaller than that)... not to mention if you drop it, the dog won't run all the way to the north pole in fear. Plus, it makes no annoying clicks or whirls (and you have no worry of having to amputate either your leg or your dog's leg if it gets tangled up in either).I like using this as a drag line out in the park so my dog can have freedom and I can have an easy way of collecting her if she doesn't respond to a recall. It's very soft in my hands, and I have knots all through it at certain lengths so I can step on it and stop my dog, without having the leash slide under my shoe. Also, for long walks in the country, I put a harness on my dog and hook this up to her... she's able to go ahead of me a bit or stop and sniff the flowers while I keep going. Unlike a flexi lead, she doesn't need to be constantly pulling me, so that's not an issue. One thing I really like about this long line is that it is easy to untangle, but once you put a knot in it then that knot's going to be there forever. Something that I'm a little disappointed about in this leash is that if you let it drag on the road AT ALL, there's a little bit of wear on it, especially where knots are... so I'd suggest not letting it drop to the ground if you're walking on the road. In the grass is fine, but not on the road.

Not quite what I expected.
This item was inexpensive and arrived quickly, even though it ships from China. HOWEVER - it is not the type of cotton webbing I was expecting, was in fact more like glorified ribbon and I do not have a lot of faith in the durability of it. For the dog I am using this on, an under 20 pound one, it works ok, but I would not use it on my larger dogs for fear of both rope burn and it possibly breaking. I would not buy it again as most of the dogs I train are larger but if you have a small dog this would work fine for proofing recalls and stays.

Excellent!
really high quality leash. I have a 110 pound Pitbull and I was still able to keep him under control when I needed to with this but also let him practice "off leash" training. The only draw backs are that the handle of the leash is a very large loop so I find myself wrapping the leash around my hand for extra support to make sure I have a hold on it. The clip is average and isn't overly durable but has withstood my 100 pound dog pulling so far. I can see the clip maybe being an issue for large dogs after a long time of use. Also be careful for rope burn if your dog suddenly tugs on this leash. I learned the hard way and have a huge rope burn on my hand now from it

Not sturdy
The metal on this piece snapped when my dog tried to run after a squirrel. Not safe to use!

It’s so groovy
It’s great for walking my albino yak around the cemetery.
