## Description

Our MaxxHaul travel trailer RV accessories fits 4" square bumper. This hitch mount is for 2" shank of bike racks, RV tire carriers etc. The bumper receiver allows 200lb tongue weight capacity. This accessory is not meant for RV level trailer towing purposes, or with cargo carrier, caution is needed when using. This adapter come with a solid steel construct, weighs 8 lbs. and protected by a durable black powder coat finish. The bumper adapter carries 4 bolts and secures the travel trailer bumper.

Review: Great for mounting Bike Racks to an RV - I looked at a lot of the reviews before I purchased and was a little skeptical on ordering due I had read that their was a welded seam on the inside of the receiver and hitch pin holes were miss aligned. I wanted this to mount on the back of my RV trailer to carry our e-bikes. I installed it on my trailer with absolutely no issues. No welded seam on the inside and hitch pins were perfectly aligned. Powder coating was decent and welds look like they are sturdy. Bike rack fit just right and is very solid with no sloop thanks to the threaded hitch pin that is used with my bike rack. Not sure if they have corrected past issues or what but I can say this is a great value for what I got. I would definitely purchase again.

**Q: What size hitch pin does this unit use?**
A: The same pin that a class three hitch uses.

**Q: If rotated 90 derees, will the spaces between bolts still fit 4" bumper? Want to mount on the end of bumper so i can add a grill to cook on after set**
A: I bought this to relocate my camper grill to the rear bumper and I found that with the bolts that come with this, NO It will not fit rotated 90* but with the use of some more narrow bolt - 1/4" 20 5" bolt it will work on a 4" wide bumper. Keep in mind you will want to use some washers to help block the holes since the smaller bolt heads and bolts will possibly slide through the bigger drilled holes.

**Q: How much clearance is needed between rv bumper and rv body?**
A: This is for a standard size bumper on RV's 4" usually. The size your drain hose will fit in. So, all you need in is maybe a inch. The part fits the width of the bummer. It does not stick out far. The bolt needs to be able to fit in front and back. So if you have enought room to put a bolt between you bumper and body of RV you should be good.

**Q: What is the weight limit ?**
A: It was I believe like 250 pounds but I would be more focus on how much will your bumper take? I have heard of issues with loading a bunch of stuff on your bumper can in time, make it start to bent or twist.

MaxHaul ! Great equipment I've been using Max Haul products for a long time they're just as good as the best as far as I am concerned. I got this for my RV because the cargo carrier the kind that comes with the mount for a four to four and a half inch square bumper on your camper would not fit I did not have enough clearance you need 1.2 in for clearance and I was lucky to have . 25 in for clearance. I ordered these separate One is the hitch that mounts with bolts to the bumper it is a perfect fit you have to bend your panels very slightly in order to get the bolts down over the top and it's not a permanent bend it's just ever so slight. Then you can tighten them up and you are set to go and install your cargo carrier easy peasy and this is going to be for a lot of campers out there that don't have the room for the bumper mount cargo carrier because of clearance between the bumper and the shell of the camper please see my photos as you will see what I am talking about I would recommend putting either some paper towel or perhaps a rag in between the plate and bolts as you put it between the bumper and the shell if you don't have much clearance, enjoy! Also I found a 500 lb capacity car truck cargo carrier for $59 as of today 9/10/25 and I am going to Mount my generator and fuel with the exhaust facing away from the camper and I'm going to chain it and I will ratchet strap it into place for stability and we can pull the cord and have electricity wherever we stop also I use a small suitcase generator by champion it's 2,200 w max 1800 running watts and a standard tote will fit over the generator with no problems at all keeping the elements out during travel I hope this helps.
