Like the relief/ pleasant feeling was 100% good on heel and arch of the feet, and about 60% good / 40% a bit unpleasant to the ball of the feet.Regarding the actual mat if you lie down on it - it’s great it gave me some relief however it felt like the spikes weren’t sharp enough. I wore a thin tank top and with that thin tank top I only felt them about 20-30%. I saw no benefit of it and so I pulled up my thin top so I can carefully lie on it bare skin. This was definitely better! It was nice, although I tried it on my bed and my mattress is a medium soft memory foam, which sort of didn’t help. I will try it on a harder surface and update this in a few days.Regarding the pillow - surprisingly very nice! I have a problem with my back/ neck and I am yet to find a small pillow that sort of only goes under the neck only that u can lie on for a long period of time. Although this one was actually very comfortable to lie on while on my back. Again, I was on my memory foam mattress, and not on a hard surface.However, for me to get those benefits everyone are talking about in reviews I have to constantly readjust my body because when I lie on it still I sort of stop feeling the spikes too fast and it’s like as if I was lying just on the bed (both pillow and mat).I also used pillow to press on my head all around and that was super nice and massaging.I guess so far, I mostly enjoyed the pillow and standing on the mat. As mentioned above I have a medical mystery burning up feet (and hands), and doctors are yet to find the cause of it. Sometimes the pain is so unbearable that I have to put my feet in freezing water to relieve the pain and burning sensation (I always describe it as if I was wearing thick woolly socks next to a space heater directed right at my feet), this mat was very unusual, but very nice feeling after.Overall, I am unsure if it helped the joints as everyone else were saying, but it definitely gave relief to my overly tense muscles. I’d say the body is feeling more relaxed now.I will try it in a harder surface and update this review soon. So far I like it, but somewhat feel that I might want the sharper spikes mat (not rose shape spikes, but actual spikes). Update soon. You can feel the pressures but it relieves at the same time. Word of advice make sure you’re in the right position before lying down because sliding across is not an option. I have recently had an operation to replace my elbow which in turn caused shoulder pain and numbness in my hand. Both relieved by the pressures on the mat and pillow. You can sit on it to get used to it. It comes in a lovely hold all bag and includes balls which if you roll your foot over really relieves the pressures. I am very much for holistic therapies and so I do feel the benefits.
