It is more of a swimsuit type (not sure how else to explain it) of fabric while the description says cotton blend so keep that in mind. My daughter is 18 pounds and around 29-30 inches long and size 6-12 month fits her perfectly. The hairband does not come tied and I have no idea how to tie it so instead, I’m going to use it as a cute belt on her.
