Bad Idea
Man what the heck was I thinking. 49 years old and thought this might be a good way to get in some exercise but nooooooo, I tripped on the 2nd swing of this thing! Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great product, a good idea even…for a 20 year old. Good grief my finger hurts after the cable got caught on my shoe. If you’re gymnast challenged like I am maybe skip this purchase (pun intended) but seriously there’s nothing wrong with the product it’s all completely USER ERROR!

Great quality
This is a super great jump rope. I originally thought the handles where a tiny bit heavy and then I ordered another brand from amazon claiming to be more like the RX jump rope and I loved this one even more the other one and I tried this one again and absolutely love it. The handles adjust so easily and the extra cord is not in the way. The only suggestion would be for them to add a little card or something showing how to measure the jump rope to to your height.

Good indoor ‘speed rope’ when maintained
Very Fast (not the the fastest) and durable for a cable rope if properly maintained. Every type of rope has its pros/cons. Cable ropes are the fastest, but not good for the outdoors. Beaded and leather are best to handle concrete but are also slower. Concrete will shred the plastic coating and fray the wire of cable ropes. During COVID when my gym shutdown, I started using my wire rope on my relatively smooth concrete driveway; it was done in under 6 months. It’s also best to hang cable ropes when not in use, but if you have to put it in a gym bag, make big loops and make sure it has its own compartment or inner bag. If you roll up cable ropes tightly or thrown them in a gym bag with all the other junk, it WILL deform defeat the purpose of a buying the cable rope (for speed). As far as the speed goes, this rope is pretty fast, but not the fast cable rope I have ever used. The varieties where the cable attaches perpendicular to the end of the handle (whatever they are called) in MY experience are the fastest. I’ve had mine about two years and the bearings are still fast &smooth.

Works great but...
Works and feels like a dream. The only down fall is storage. After rolling and disconnecting everything like how it was shipped and putting it back in the bag was there an issue. It held the memory of the roll up though it was exactly the same, causing a five minute tussle to get the ball rolling the next morning. I started hanging this off of my curtain rod so it was drapped like it would be on a jump rope rack. Over time a slight kink caused even more issue quickly causing me to just throw this away. So if you buy it, treat it like a baby because the cord creates a memory of even the tiniest accidental misuse.

Good quality
I used this jump rope for almost one month already, this is the most reliable and durable rope that I have ever used, rope surface is still complete and decent after one month using. Beside that, it’s very light like it describes, also the length is adjustable which makes it very easy to use. If you love to work out and looking for good jump rope, I’ll recommend this one.

Poorly designed cable attachment s
There are 2 important things that are sort of terrible about this jump rope. First how the cable attaches to the handles is a problem. While it’s nice you can adjust the cable easily if you step on the rope at all the cable pulls out. Repeatedly. It’s super annoying when you are sweaty to repeatedly have reattach the cable to the handle. Maybe other folks are better jump ropers than me or something and never step on the rope. Secondly the handles on this model have ends that unscrew. After a few minutes of jumping they begin to unscrew. Eventually they will totally unseat. This is my second Goothdurs. I had the same problems with the first one. I thought maybe with the first rope I was doing something wrong. Nope. These just aren’t great. Taking the screw in ends off is fine. The rope repeatedly coming out makes these a bad choice.

Could not imagine a better jump rope!
Bought this jump rope for my boxing class so I didn't have to use the community ones anymore, and I absolutely love it! The mechanics are perfect so the rope doesn't get all wound up and being able to make adjustments to the length as you're going is more useful than I thought it would be. I'm a 5"6' female, and the smaller length is perfect. The handles are super lightweight and easy to grip. Could not imagine a better jump rope!

Dialed in and speedy.
Well I friggin love this thing! The mechanism in the handle helped me dial in the perfect length really quickly.I saw the question about durability on concrete and appreciate the protective cover. But, like in other cases, it ruins the deal. So, hook me up with a link to replace the cable when I burn through this one.
