I purchased these to gift to someone who loves practical jokes. I was surprised when I opened the package to find these VERY unrealistic looking mice. Their "fur" was just so obviously NOT fur. They looked like super cheap cat toys.That said, she seemed delighted anyway so fingers crossed that she can fool someone with them and get her laughs. It just seemed that they could've used a lot of different things than what was used to imitate fur that may have seemed more on point.

decent product for the price...works well on hardwood type floors...not for any type of carpet....but, they do intrigue my cat and seem to be pretty durable and well built...can take a beating from the cat and still keep going...lol

The price is reasonable considering that you get 4 of them. The mice look pretty good. The tail is lacking though...too short and plastic instead of some kind of cord or string. This may have been a conscious choice, considering that string and cats shouldn't mix. The spring mechanism that drives them works ok, but you may have trouble getting traction on slick floors...the mice aren't heavy enough. One of them was broken right from the bag...the disc used to wind it up had popped out and wouldn't engage with the spring. Overall, I was pleased, but there are definite improvements that could be done.

Our little dog was excited by a mouse that I caught in a no kill trap. So we decided to get these just to have fun and play with her.. Wind them up and the go for a short distance. It tends to move in an arch... The first one broke in the initial wind-up... our fault. They are much larger than a large mouse... more like "small rat size" they are of course not very complicated or precise and wound too tight brakes it.. and when my little girl Boker pup had her fill, she wanted to bisected it see if it had a squeaker, and that was the end of the 4 little mice. Nice for a time..

Cats AND dog totally love them! Recommended buy.

The wind up mice are cute. I have only wound up 2 for my cats. The 2 worked well. One lost its winder - the big white thing on the outside - but I found the part of the mouse that the winder attaches to and re-attached the winder - now the mouse works well. I will reserve adding more to my review as I use the other 2 mice. Our cats are quite interested in the big mice rolling along and they seem to enjoy them - as long as I keep them wound and moving.

These were cute and were raced twice and one became inoperable. I managed to fix that one by taking it apart. Another one broke within 2 hours and was unreparable.

Quite fun for our cat. Shame the mouse stops as soon as it hits a barrier, rather than pushing against it to turn; also, even a full wind is not quite enough unless your can is ready, waiting for you to release it (which kind of ruins the surprise element for the cat)

Not so good one of them doesn’t even work.

Dog loves chasing them then ripping them to bits. Great little toy and well worth the money.

I really liked this set of mice! Bigger than I expected, boys thought they were rats 😂 4 different colours so was fun racing them along the hall. Very happy with my purchase.

One of the wind up keys fell off but it slotted back in quite easily. I bought them for an after dinner game at a Burns Supper.
