I bought them in red as I chose red as my accent color for all my accessories. The red is vibrant and appealing. The grip itself provides an excellent hand grip and feel. Them locking to the handle bars is a feature I wanted and it works great with these. No slipping or twisting. Easy installation. I have these on my Raleigh mountain bike and they have added a positive impact on my riding.
