It is very easy to assemble and I like the fact you can self adjust to your own height and can disassemble it to save space, should you desire, when not in use. I leave mine in the stand alone assembled position using the 4 prong tip to allow it to stand by itself which is handy when you are seated like in a theater or restaurant. The hand grip is also sturdy and your hand doesn't slip.
