BEST Juicer I've Used
We've had this juicer about two months now. We do a ton of juicing at our coffee shop - probably do twenty 16oz juices a day - and this thing holds up. Juice yield is awesome! Pulp is dry. Stainless steel, well-built, no problems yet. We were going through cheaper juicers every month or so and using probably 40% more produce to make a juice.I definitely recommend this thing - especially if it's just for home use! I've seen online complaints that it's a hassle to clean and I just don't agree. We take it apart and rinse it every two drinks or so and it really is no harder then, say, washing a pan.

Please don't be misled by the competitor's review.
As the Super Angel 3500 Juicer is getting popular and selling as the best juicer in the market, some garbled truth about super angel juicer made by the competitors can possibly mislead the customers. Since the shock from BPM, the plastic toxics was revealed through the mass media, the consumers start to seek for the stainless steel juicer and, at the same time, the plastic twin gear juicers are gradually receded from consumer's interest. As for the Metal Shaving, Since the high quality food grade stainless steel, horizontal twin gears have a space of mere 0.1 mm (4/1000 of an inch) apart, it never generate any metal shaving from the gears. It was confirmed by the manufacturer it is absolutely guarantee on this matter and, if found any similar things, they fully refund or replace with new machine any time. Some juicers have the breakable plastic edges on the end of gears and when the plastic edges rotate each other, plastic to plastic, it could have a chance to generate a plastic shaving.

Not perfect, but as close to it as any juicer I've used
I previously had a very similar product--an Omega brand twin-gear press juicer that also used stainless steel gears. I lost it somehow when we moved, and have tried other juicers (Omega no longer makes a twin-gear juicer) including Omega's single-gear press juicer, and was never very happy with the results. This Angel, on the other hand, is terrific. Note that it's for juicing root vegetables and leafy vegetables. It extracts nearly every possible drop pf juice--the pulp is almost dry when it comes out. However, soft foods like most fruits do not do well with a twin-gear press type juicer. Don't get this juicer if you need it to make fruit juice. What happens is that instead of juice, you get thick fruit sludge. Also, with soft fruits, not much is extracted from the pulp, so you end up with fruit sludge coming out the pulp dispenser also. However, for both hard and leafy vegetables, you can't beat the good old twin-gear press--and this is one of the most well-constructed ones I've seen. Really the only plastic parts visible are the replaceable gasket seal and some gasket-like parts where the gears connect to the juicer. I expect this unit will last a long, long time, and there's barely any visible plastic (no visible plastic when it's assembled) to get stained, discolored, etc.Cleanup is about average. It takes me about four to five minutes to clean this. I'm not fast at cleaning, but I'm not slow. I think I'm average. In my experience, this is average cleaning time for juicers.Noise? The loudest this juicer gets is the "beep" when you turn it on and off. The fan is whisper-quiet, and the motor itself is no louder than a murmur, and it's a not-unpleasant humming sound. I can't stand loud appliances so this is a huge plus for me, especially when I juice early in the morning. I'd give it an A or even an A+ for sound.Assembly and disassembly takes about ten to fifteen seconds, there's really nothing to it. Two gears, the strainer and the shield, that's it.The food insertion tube is a little wider than most, which eliminates having to chop all but the fattest carrots. I have to cut up on average one carrot for each three five-pound bags I go through. One carrot in fifteen pounds is not bad.The unit is quite heavy at 20 pounds, but I believe that's because it has a powerful motor (lots of copper winding which add a lot of bulk) plus a solid stainless steel body. Could be a problem for strength-impaired people, but most people should be able to handle it fine. Still, if I could think of one improvement, it would be to add a small handle or an easier-to-grip surface.Bottom line: many pluses, no complaints, I'm happy I bought this unit even though it's pricey.
