I apply it before I wash my hair (either the night before, leaving it overnight, or a good few hours before) to let it soak in and work its magic. When applied, it is instantly soothing and stops any itch. It has a serum-like texture and a nice amount of slip for scalp massage; unfortunately though, it is too greasy/wet for me just go about my day or out in public – it’s a bit like wet-look gel when it’s in! It washes out perfectly though with no grease or residue. As well as being instantly soothing, this has really helped with flakes on the long term. My scalp feels well moisturised now and therefore much less flaky and itchy. I can go a few days longer without the need for washing it.
