I spent hours looking at videos of vlogging setups for motorcycle helmets and found that most looked ridiculous with all kinds of homemade attachments taped and wired to crash helmets. , I have a Hero8 in the media mod sitting on my helmet and a 3.4mm mic plugged into it and running into my helmet (no wind noise). If the GoPro battery gets low I can run a cable from the media mod to a power bank in my jacket pocket and carry on recording for hours. When I am finished filming I plug a micro HDMI lead between the media mod and my TV and watch and listen to myself immediately.
