Review: Works great - Works great Review: Cheap casting - I thought I would try this pump because I wouldn’t be using it often and it fit the budget. Pump looked nice and went together easy. Problem was it never pumped the first time. I’m in the industrial maintenance field and I work with different types of pumps daily. I turned the pump so much trying to get it to prime that the handle eventually just snapped off inside the pump. So at this point I took it apart to see why it wouldn’t pump. The casting tolerances were so bad that it would be literally impossible for this thing to ever hold enough pressure to move any type of fluid. It’s a very cheap and thin casting with a spring the size of a pen spring pressing the rotor blades against the housings.
