Review: 12MBs transfers - I bought these to connect my telescopes in my back yard to my home network. At first, it didn't work well at all and then I re-read the instructions. Don't plug either end of this into a surge protector or a power strip that has a surge protector as that will prevent the device from communicating as it needs to. Once I stopped doing that, it has been very reliable since. I can transfer the very large image files directly from the telescope controllers to my processing computer in a reliable manner now w/o having to constantly unplug memory sticks and other things. Definitely worthwhile to me.

**Q: will this raise my electric bill?**
A: No. I do not believe so. My electric bill has not gone up due to using them.

**Q: I want to use one in my house and one outside in my barn which is about 80 feet away. Will this product work in that scenario?**
A: Theoretically, as long as the electric is fed from the same panel it should work

**Q: There are no instructions included; how do you pair them? I followed instructions found online but the link sign won’t turn solid green.**
A: Connect to the main router and once it's lit and accepting signal and all lights green, then simply plug the other one in the wall on same electrical system and it should come on like the first one. Then plug into computer.

**Q: Do they need to be connected with the same wall circuit (breaker)?**
A: No, they do not need to be on the same circuit breaker.  Mine are connected with the starting point downstairs in the family room, one circuit, and they connect in bedrooms upstairs which are on different circuits than the family room.

Did not work as designed. I have power running out to my minibarn, straight run of 10/2 uf wire (wire is oversized due to length of run - 175'). One outlet in the barn, one in the house, a few feet from the panel. No GFI yet. Nothing else on the circuit, just those two outlets. No connectivity through these devices. They see each other, and go green, but when you try to send any data through them it goes from green to red. I thought it could be electronic noise from the devices I was using. So, I plugged one directly into my router, the other into my laptop. Nothing else on that circuit. No power supplies, no cameras, no lights, nothing else - just the adapter at each end. My laptop could not connect. Came into the house, plugged the same ethernet cable directly in, works great. I guess it's too long of a run for this device? I don't see any length for a maximum run.
