MINE measures 38.75 in length (not open) ; 19 3/16 wide; 28 3/4" high including the rollers. The hinged leaf that extends makes it 23 1/2" longer which is nice as far as I am concerned. Hope this helps. Perhaps others will tell you their dimensions. **Q: Can I sit and sew on it** A: With the door closed there is little room for your legs. I open the door and sit on a chair to sew. My only concern is that the top seems to sag a bit when I put my Janome Skyline on it so the extension door sticks a bit when I open and close it.
