Then, I found this wonderful product. Upon opening the package, I was hit with a wonderful smell of lavender and herbs that complemented the forest-green appearance of the bar. After reading the directions and inspecting the beautiful purple packaging, I prepared an apple cider vinegar rinse as was recommended and decided to give the whole process a try.Wetting my hair slightly with warm water, I began to lather the bar into my hair making sure to massage the oils deep into the scalp. It was clear by the large lather that a little goes a long way with this product! I let the product sit in my hair for a couple of minutes, using the remaining lather on my body. After about 2 minutes, I turned the shower off and used the apple cider vinegar rinse which was about 3 tablespoons to a liter of filtered tap water. This was where the true test happened.Drying my hair, I noticed some fantastic things: my scalp was not itchy; it did not appear red or irritated; hair was not falling out; I had volume I never previously had. I am usually not the person to say something is a "miracle", but this product is a definite change from the harsh chemical detergent shampoos I had been naively using and is dare I say it, a miracle. I am on day 3 of using it and the positive effects are still going strong!Thank you Beauty and the Bees for this great product! I highly recommend this shampoo bar for men and women who have itchy, irritated scalps. I will absolutely be recommending your store to friends and family. ### ⭐ Creates a slime slick that was only removed with traditional shampoo *by N*** on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2018* Not sure who thought this was made to be rinsed out ? -- it left such a greasy slick on my hair that I shampooed without even attempting to style my hair. I had basically clean hair, that just needed a bit of a boast to wash out a bit of sweat etc -- no products at all in my hair. --- I rinse and rinse ... even washed twice thinking that I didnt get 'enough' lather ... LOL wrong, just created a greater slime slick on my healthy mane. ---- I cant think of any reason why this is a use-able product. ### ⭐ Waxy residue *by E***O on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2018* Just threw mine away. I gave it a go for a week. My hair felt stiff and waxy and the smell it left in my hair I found really unpleasant. The company was quick to respond to my inquiries but ultimately I did not see any improvement in the waxy feeling left on my hair. The company said it was buildup from commercial shampoos and to continue use. There was such a build up that my brushes became coated in it as well. Maybe it makes sense since two of the main ingredients are wax (soya wax, Leatherwood beeswax) but I’m just beginning to explore these products. I tried it with and without the honey silk hair conditioner bar. Results never got better. I really wanted to stick with bottle-less so I purchased another brand of bar shampoo and was immediately sold after the first use.
