It is a real, standard thickness falsa. I’m looking forward to washing it so that it gets softer. It is the same thickness I associate with other good falsas I have owned. It is also A sturdy weave. Not a cheap lightweight falsa that is overpriced, like what has been flooding the amazon market lately. But just be advised that it’s not heavy in the sense of super duper thick. It’s just a good solid falsa. The weave and the colors really have a pretty contrast. One note is the tassels are not very substantial—- a bit thin and short. I am used to full tassels, but I’m not too worried about that for my uses.
