Pizza Royale,Hello. I hope this finds you well as I have now used your pizza peel enough to feel confident in my ability to provide quality feedback. When it first arrived my wife and I were impressed by the well balanced weight, with the handle and paddle feeling sturdy in hand. The packaging was also adequate in protecting it from nicks and dings. The presentation of the peel is top notch, with well done engravings and etchings. The grain and smoothness of the wood is a perfect balance of rustic roughness but smooth enough to not feel like you are going to get a splinter in your finger or pizza.Its usefulness in making our kitchen a lively place cannot be understated. Our first attempt at using it we put a nice layer of corn meal on, then our pizza dough, decorated the pizza, and put it on our stone using the prescribed method. The pizza slid perfectly off and when the time came to retrieve it, it did a great job (once we got the technique down after a few tries) at retrieving the finished pizza. We did note the size did not allow for much bigger than a small / personal size pizza without the dough drooping to either side. That is not an issue for us as we do our pizza nights by making about two or three pizzas but each one a little different.Thank you again for reaching out and asking for the feedback. We've used your product multiple times now and it has shown no visible signs of wear. In fact it is proudly displayed in our kitchen because of how beautiful it is. I have owned many pizza peels and they have always splintered, worked, and ended up breaking in half. When I ordered this I was a little skeptical because it sounded so amazing, but everything they say is true. Not only is this board beautiful but the quality is outstanding ! It is perfectly smooth with a nice beveled edge, comfortable grip, cleans nicely and works perfectly, we use it in our outdoor pizza oven and the pizzas with a little cornmeal slide right into the oven with ease, the company was a very efficient, the board arrived within days, and the owner of the company contacted me shortly after to ask if I was satisfied with the product when I said I hadn't used it yet she checked back in a week and said they were a small company and she just wanted to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. Not only am I happy with my purchase but I am also happy with this amazing small family Business and I wish them the best of luck in the future I recommend ordering from this company anytime they're great! I just received our Merdico pizza peel a couple weeks ago and have only been able to use it a couple of times, but it has worked great. It is great quality and has a nice look to it and looks beautiful hanging on our pan hanging rack. I inquired with Merdico as to how best to use the peel so that the pizza doesn't stick and Mary, the owner, personally got back to me immediately with help on using the peel. Excellent customer service. The second pizza came out perfect and slid right off the peel with a little use of some extra flour and corn meal before we put the dough on it. I highly recommend this peek and at a great price too.

Great tool, lip is good for scooping off of the stone. Can also double as a cutting board and looks very nice! Only complaint is that I'm having a tough time flooring this board enough to get a good transition from board to stone. Could be me, I'm still a little new to this, but have had better luck with other cutting boards that i have been ruining in the process. I will keep trying though because it is a beautiful sturdy tool.

While I don’t have anything to compare it to as this was my first pizza peel I’ve ever purchased- overall I’m very happy with the product! Very sturdy and good quality. It was the perfect size for my 14.5” Emile Henry pizza stone. Make sure you dowload the directions and recipe PDF they email to you after purchase! The tip to focus on sliding the peel out from under the pizza instead of trying to slide the pizza off onto the pizza stone was very helpful-successful transfer for my first try! I’m allergic to corn and can’t use cornmeal when I bake, so I was nervous that flour wasn’t going to be enough to slide the pizza off but flour worked just as well. I’m looking forward to trying out the recipes for different doughs and sauces. Thanks!

I haven't used this peel long enough to evaluate it's durability over time. So this review is only about my first impressions with the product.So far, the peel seems to be of very good quality and nicely finished. It is good looking and the wood is well polished.I like the way the logo is inscribed on the wood, and I like that it has a hole so you can hang it.I like a lot that is light, so it's easy to handle. I don't like heavy peels. I have seen other bamboo peels that don't look of the same quality as this one (and they are way too heavy).I baked a pizza yesterday and it didn't stick, which is the idea. No complains in this area. Even with the pies on top was easy to maneuver.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. The company behind it seems eager to provide us with a top notch quality product. I've talked with one of the owners and their customer service is very good. it seems these people are very interested on hearing feedback from customers in order to improve the quality of their products. Nice company.My recommendation is to buy it and give it a try. I think you will be happy with this peel.Note however, that this peel is not very big (which is exactly why I bought it for, I wanted something compact and light). It can only holds 12 inch (30 cm) pizzas. If you want to create bigger pizzas, you need a bigger peel. But for small and personal pizzas, this peel is perfect!!P.S I'll update my review as I evaluate its quality on the long run
