My grandaughter is a size 3T at most stores (Old Navy, etc.)** A: I bought this for my daughter just before she turned 3 (she was wearing 3T). Bought the medium. It was loose (but not so that it fell off but it was super easy for her to put on and take off) and dragged a bit on the floor but she didn't care. by Spring though the length was fine. She now wears a 4 and it's still a fairly loose around the torso. The dress has had a year of pretty rough wear. She would often wear this to bed and then again the next day if we let her. The rosette fell off almost instantly but the rest has held up pretty well. I'm pretty sure it'll fit her through 4T and into 5T. By 5T it'll be a bit short though. She loved that it went all the way to the ground. **Q: Hi, my granddaughter is 28 inches from her shoulders to the floor. I was finally convinced by the reviews and am very glad I was. She has worn it a lot since receiving it 2.5 months ago and it still looks new, despite being washed many times. Can wash it, unlike most costumes *by A***1 on August 25, 2016* My 3-year-old wanted to be a princess for Halloween. So I started looking at princess dresses. She does not watch any of the Disney princess movies, so she does not identify with any of those princesses and didn't need a particular dress or color. She does however love pink as do most little girls in America today. This dress fit the bill nicely. It is much better quality than the dress up clothes they have in the stores. Those don't stand up to washing in the washing machine. This dress however, is much better. It stood up to 3 different Halloween events, including one that involved painting and required washing afterward. It went through the wash just fine. I washed it normally and then hung it to dry and it came out looking as good as new. As a tall 3-year-old, this still fit large on her. I would guess that she will be able to wear it until she is at least 5. This was a very good purchase. If you have a little girl who likes to wear her princess dress regularly, then I think this will be able to stand up to that. It really can be worn as a dress rather than feeling cheap like a costume.
