The clear plastic cover lets you use your device's touchscreen without removing it from the pocket, and it was great to have a long car trip during which I didn't have to keep turning around to pick up the iPad for my daughter. Unfortunately, after just one car trip (seven hours each way), one of the elastic loops had pulled away from the seam and is now hanging just by its fabric casing. My then-two-year-old hadn't been rough with it since she couldn't even reach it in the car, and all it did was hang on the back of the seat. If this were better constructed, it would be a five-star product.
