I've now been using this one for over a month and I really love it. This straightener works as it should...doesn't pull, straightens fast, makes my hair feel really soft and smooth (even when I was in desperate need of a haircut). I don't use it on really wet hair, just slightly damp (I have shoulder length hair and I don't like to blow-dry in the summer at all). When I have used it on wetter hair, I needed to increase the temperature a bit, and even then it didn't "dry" my hair all the way. I don't think it's really meant for that anyways. BUT...great for traveling so you don't need to bring a blowdryer. Heats up fast and gets very hot. i use it on one of the lower settings (380 degrees) and I have a mix of fine and coarse hair. ### ⭐⭐ First Wet-to-Dry Straightener--Disappointed *by C***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2012* I must preface this review by saying that I have never before tried a wet-to-dry straightener, so I have no basis for comparison for this product: But I must say that it definitely did not work on my hair... It dried my hair, but it didn't straighten it, and I found that my hair is actually less frizzy when I pull it back and let it air dry before straightening it than when I used this product... I definitely had to straighten my hair with my normal Fahrenheit straightener after I used this product, so it doesn't deliver what it promises. It does however get very hot and works well as a normal straightener, but I wouldn't count on it to straighten your damp hair--works well in lieu of a blowdryer though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Woo Hoo, great straightener *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2013* I just received this and am thrilled I got this at such a terrific price. So far, works just as well as my T3 which I bought for around $200. I would love to try the titanium Izunami straightener but it is a lil more expensive so I will have to wait on that. For this price, I am concerned it will break on me any day, but for now, I love that I have this wet/dry straightner and hope it lasts. I often go to bed with wet hair. I use it when my hair is still damp in the morning, not sopping wet.
