It doesn’t know the month so if you want the day number to be correct you would need to correct it at the end of the month if it is not a 31 day month. To be honest, the day number is so small I cannot read it so I don’t use it or correct it!!!! **Q: I have changed the date and time on the watch but it will not start, there was no tab to pull for battery** A: Was it going before you changed the date and time? If so then make sure the knob is pushed fully back in. If it was not going previously then you probably have a flat battery. If still not going then watch may be faulty and I would suggest arranging a return to Amazon. **Q: Do you have an alternative strap not derived from animal products please ?** A: No **Q: How long is the strap at the smallest setting?** A: hello I hope I am understanding your question. Tightening the strap to the last hole leaves 4.5 cm of remaining strap. The whole strap is 11cms.
