Review: Great amp - I've been using soundstream amps since the 90s and just like then they don't disappoint, I have this amp on 2 punch 10s 4ohm dvc paralleled, which means the amp is seeing a half ohm, I don't suggest doing that you can blow up your amp, but it can be done if you need the power, I've had it running that way for 2 years now and no problem

**Q: Would this monoblock soundstream amp support a 12 inch sub that has 1200watts ?**
A: Theres a video of this amp being put on an amp dyno.  It managed to do 900 watts.  With that being said look at the rms rating of the sub.  If it's 1200 then the amp will under drive it.  But if that rating is 1200 max then this amp will push it nicely.

**Q: gain contoller included in the package?**
A: yah the bass knob came with it I think because when I got it installed the installer showed me my bass knob that came with it

**Q: Which amp is better? [soundstream pn1.1000d - rms @ 4 ohms = 350 , 2 ohms = 600] or [soundstream pn1.650d - rms @ 4 ohms = 400, 2ohms =  650]**
A: They're both good. I have the pn1 and the bench test proves the amp to be under rated. I'm getting about 1100 watts from the 1000d. Ultimately depends on the application or installation. I have mine hooked up to 2 8 inch Kicker L7s.

**Q: Can this amp push 2 Pyle 15s?**
A: No! Has a hard time pushing my 2 10's. They are 2ohm Skar speakers and I had to order one amp per sub.

Ok I'll write one. This thing puts out clear real power and stays cool doing it. What more could I want. I recently purchased a kenwood bt hd head unit, 4 new door speakers and an amp for the doors. Once I heard how bright and loud my sound was I knew I had to add full sound so I consulted various caraudio forums and was recommended this Soundstream by one of the regulars who's opinion I trusted based on what I saw and read from his posts. I have a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage gas sipper thingy so space is limited. I got the pioneer TS SWX2502 10" slim subwoofer box because it's small and it fires down so I can throw my tools on top without damaging it. As an ex bass head from the early nineties I was expecting much out of this small package, just wanted to fill out my sound........THIS SETUP POUNDS SO TIGHT! I bought this amp because I thought 1 10" might not be enough and with single voice coils I can power 1 at 350w 4ohms, 2 at 600w 2ohms, or 3 at 864w 1.33 ohms! And look, there's exactly enough room to lay 3 of em' down in my tiny car! But I don't know what to do because it sounds so perfectly balanced with one. Anyways, thank you Soundstream for making a comeback into the real audio world! (Old enough to remember)
