They were narrower than other similar frames and didn't stick out as far on the sides. I liked these so much that I decided to try another pair with a different lens color, so I ordered the gunmetal frame with blue lenses. However, what I ended up receiving was a pair of black frames with silver lenses. While I actually like the way this 2nd pair looks as well, it's clearly not what I ordered so I will likely end up returning them.Update 1/15/20 - Bircen customer service stepped in and helped resolve this issue. They were really responsive, easy to deal with, and made sure everything was made right. Two other minor comments would be that the shipping could be improved. Replacement glasses were shipped individually in an Amazon soft pack. The cardboard and case for the product don't provide any crush resistance, so they can be damaged during shipping. The other minor issue is that the ends of the temple arms are the same metal as the frame and not coated in rubber/plastic. If you're not careful when closing the arms, they could scratch the inside lens. Yes.Lens Quality/ClaimsTrue polarized lenses. The lenses fit to the edges of my face such that light didn't enter my periphery from top, bottom, or sides. Gray lenses were pretty dark. Driving with them immediately after sunset caused squinting. I haven't tried the other lenses so I'm not sure if they are any lighter.Conclusion:Personal judgement of your chance of being happy ordering these: 90%+ That's pretty darned good.
