As for water resistance, I’ll be spraying them with the can of waterproofing, these are a beautiful leather and they will need a treatment to maintain that beautiful look for a long period and times of rain. The size (12) fit my foot well enough; however, I think the next size larger may have fit my needs a bit better. That may have eliminated the problem with the back lip.
