I have hard water so hard soaps don't always later that well, cream soaps tending to perform better. To my surprise, this soap lathered like a mother. It worked up VERY quickly into a a thick, rich lather, that was very lubricating and moisturizing, and it didn't dissipate as soon as it hit my face.
