EZ-SIL Silicone Rubber, Translucent, Mold Making, Shore A 30 (Trial Size(2.2 lbs))

This silicone is superior to Reynolds in one very important way - it mixes easily. I had a full gallon of combined 30 silicone and I was able to stir and mix without having anyone help. In addition, there were very few bubbles by the time it cured and it took about half what I expected to create a very deep fluorescent color.

This silicone in one of the best silicones I've used (and I've used a lot of brands of silicones). It is bubble free and colors well with silicone pigments. The cost is also lower than other silicones that I have used, but don't let the cost fool you. This silicone is quality. I would definitely buy this again.

1) I was having problems molding 3d printed parts with small gaps and channels. I tried the more expensive 3D printing mold making filaments and hydro support filament which dissolves in water. I also tried using plaster and melting the part for resin casting. I found that with regular PLA 3d printing and this product I could make the mold very easily and the parts came out well formed, fairly detailed and rigid - I could also re-use the mold!2) I had a shipping issue with the seller and was immediately sent a replacement:-).Good product, helpful seller. I would definitely buy this again!

Used 5-10 gallons of this product, it used to be great and now its riddled with poor quality.It doesnt adhere to itself like silicone should (usually doesnt need mold release for 2 part molds). The silicone itself is quite brittle (compared to all others). It deforms greatly under pressure (even when fully vacuumed prepour and vacuumed in mild).Molds tear and warp after a couple uses, far below what the specs indicate or compared to similar shore of other brands.Do not recommend. Spend the extra $10 and buy higher quality.
