It’s decently cushy, but with a thicker rug group thing underneath it, it’s very comfortable to sit on. It’s also pretty durable. We had it in our toddler’s room for almost 2 year before we had to replace it. But that was mainly because toddler’s are messy. However, the rug is so reasonably priced, that replacing it after a couple of years didn’t bother us.
