This is perfect. It even has the metal "lock" which to me is the bombb. My oldest child had the 12oz sippy top for 3+ years. My wife and I have this same design in a 24oz volume for 5 years, before that I had the original 32oz screw on lid design. The 12oz sippy top is going to our youngest child when they stop drinking so much milk, I've never put anything but water in a Nalgene.The only failure was the original 32oz lid fell onto the dishwasher heating element and melting. I see people get new brands every 6months and they don't last, on to the next fad.
