Held at a fromer Army Air Force base in Sebring, Florida, the 12 Hours of Sebring race has traditionally been the opening round of the World Sportscar Championship. The toughest race on the car due to the incredibly bumpy and rough track surface. In 1969, Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver won the gruelling 12h Sebring race. The Gulf liveried GT40 is on the short list to be one of the most iconic racing cars of all time. These heavyweight 5.4 oz shirts are made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton and feature a taped neck to shoulder seam. Silk-screened in the USA. 3" silk-screened Gulf logo on left sleeve. Licensed by Gulf Oil L.P. this shirt embodies the Gulf Oil spirit in all its colorful glory.
