This particular product has also been tested for heavy metals and is guaranteed to be free from harmful levels of contaminants. You take 2 of these per day so this is a 30 day supply, and you get 1500mg of Omega 3s - 800mg EPA, 600mg DHA - in every serving. These have a nice lemon scent and flavor, and are easy to swallow with no "fishy" aftertaste. I am also happy with how fresh this product is, I ordered my bottle around the middle of August 2015 and the expiration date isn't until March 2018! I purchased my first bottle during a limited promotional period at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I am very happy with this brand and would order again!

Tuff Bear Nutrition Omega-3 8060 fish oil pleasantly surprised me when i opened the bottle. Not only did it not smell fishy, it smelled good! Lemony. The benefits of omega-s are well known, I have been using fish oil for about 5 years now, there is a lot of cardiovascular disease in my family. I also find it REALLY helps my mood, I gave some to my brother last week who has been depressed and he felt better in 3 days. The bottle says it is heavy metal tested which I interpret to mean purified but i did not contact the company to find out. i was able to purchase Tuff bear omega 3 at a promotional price to try and review. 2 capsules contain 800 mg EPA, 600mg DHA and 100 mg other omega 3 fatty acids. The bottle does not tell you what kinds of fish oil are used however and i have a family member extremely allergic to shrimp, he can not use krill oil so he has to be careful about fish oil supplements so that is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5 even though personally I LOVE it

I have been taking omega 3 supplements for around month now, and I felt like they really helped my mental focus and my joints. As an active, younger person, the heart benefits seem to be doing some background work that I don't really seem to notice. However, my mother has had some heart problems in the past and I wanted to know if these supplements could help her in that area. I bought these for her and asked about her overall experience and compared it to the experiences that I too had with these soft gels.We both agreed that the supplements were a bit hard to swallow. I think she had more difficulty with it than me, but I usually have no problems with pills. I sometimes take other pills without any water because it feels like I don't need the help. However, with these pills you will definitely want to have some liquid to help swallow them. The discomfort is temporary, but the benefits are long lasting.My mother has been having problems with her heart going out of rhythm, but I am relieved to hear that since taking these supplements the frequency of those episodes has gone down to nearly zero. Not a miracle cure, but it has shown to be a great help in her heart health.As far as fish breath goes, neither of us noticed any significant odor. I must say, however, that you should not try to take these pills with hot liquid. If you do, the coating seems to dissolve prematurely and the risk for bad breath increases quite a bit.Overall, I would say that we were both very satisfied with these pills and that would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get their hearts, joints, and minds healthier and stronger.I received this product at a discount for an unbiased review.
