I picked this one mainly because it was fairly cheap with decent wattage and it's an "outdoor speaker" but the durability of it impressed me quite a bit. I have this hooked up to a cheap little Midland CB and it's pretty loud, the only inconspicuous place i could find to mount it was on my frame behind my left front tire. I forgot about it being right behind my tire (also facing towards my tire) when I decided to play in some mud yesterday. I realized today that I had flung a ***** load of mud straight into my PA and went outside to take a look at the damage, to my horror it was fully packed with mud (I have 4wd so the front tire flung quite a bit of mud with decent force). I was pretty sure I would be buying a new PA but after I scrapped out all of the mud I tested it and it's loud as ever and working just fine! If you plan on putting a PA on your car I would definitely recommend this one. (I do put a grocery bag over it when it rains, I think flinging water straight into it would most likely damage it) but if it's not right behind a tire I'm pretty sure it'll be fine in any condition.
