Works great. I have been very pleased with my Mophie. I am charging it tonight for a day of running navigation on my phone tomorrow. Have done this multiple times since I got it several months ago and have been very happy with how well it works. It fits my phone well and although it does add some weight and bulk to the phone, it is still pretty slim. **Q: My phone won't fit (yes, I know how to insert one..this is my 2nd). Is it OK to remove the back of the phone to get it to fit?** A: Is your phone a galaxy Slll. I love mine and it fit just fine. No need to take the back off. It just slides right on in. The top of the Mophie pulls off and the phone will slide right in. **Q: Would I be able to fit a protective case over my galaxy s3 with the juice pack on?** A: I was wondering the same thing before I received my Mophie. Now I realize that the Mophie Juice Pack is a protective case cover and a battery charger. I do have a protective shield over the front of my screen and it fits perfectly with the Mophie. **Q: S3 has a damaged charging port the only way to keep it running is to use an exterior battery charger & keep changing batteries.Will this help us?** A: I found over time my Mophie ruined the charging port on my phone. It was just what I needed. If it were possible to put even more battery into it, of course that would always be welcome. But as it is, it roughly doubles my overall battery life, which really helps at the most important times.Operation is completely straightforward - activating/deactivating phone charging from it is a physical switch, and there's a button that when pressed will light up LED's indicating the case's remaining battery charge. And, when charging the case with the phone in it, the phone will charge in parallel with the case without having to even flick the switch. (One slightly odd thing is that the USB charging plug goes into the case "upside down" relative to other devices. Usually the logo on the cable plug would be face up, but for this device it's face down. I only mention it because otherwise it could be confusing why the plug won't go it.)In terms of holding the phone, it's a very snug fit (which is good), and it wraps around all corners of the phone. An added plus is that it relieves the phone's data/charging port from constant wear and tear of plugging/unplugging. I haven't tried a "drop test" yet (either intentional or unintentional), so I don't have data on protection - however, it feels like a solid case, so I have confidence in it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect! *by N***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2013* There's absolutely NOTHING I don't enjoy about having this case! The top pops off to allow the phone to slide down into the case. Once seated, it fits very snug and doesn't slide or shift at all.The case is made of a hard rubber. I enjoy this because I found the Galaxy S III a little difficult to handle with it's glossy finish combined with it's very thin design. With the contoured case (it is rounded on the back to fit in the palm better!), it is now about twice as thick and adds roughly 1/2 an inch in length - neither of which bother me in the slightest. Now I don't have to worry about handling my phone so carefully! Plus, the extra battery allows me to run everything on my phone as much as I want without worrying about rationing my battery use. Awesome!The fellow who mentioned the buttons on the side for power and sound buttons rattling --- mine also rattle, but just barely, and only when shaken, at that. Who shakes their phone on a normal basis anyway? The most I could see this bothering someone is to take away 1 star.Solid design, solid materials, solid product. I recommend to EVERYONE who owns a Galaxy S III. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the value *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2015* I want to first give a disclaimer that I only paid 17 dollars for this case instead of the MSRP price of 99 dollars. Being that you can buy them now for around 30 dollars, I won't be judging it based on its original price. That being said, I really like the black matte version that I purchased. The white glossy version is slippery and gets dirty easily. The black matte also seems to have less problems than the white glossy (you can verify that by checking the reviews on amazon :) The charge takes about 4 to 6 hours so I charge it overnight. NOTE: for some reason this will not charge your galaxy S3 from 0 to 100% ( even though the battery pack has more power than the original battery. However, the battery pack in the case has 2 purposes:- Standard Batt: Turn battery pack on after charging both phone and case to 100%. The mophie case now becomes the main battery pack, and the s3 ccomes the backup. Being that the mophie drains first before the s3 it will last longer and is recommended for heavy use days- Reserve Batt: If you aren't using the phone heavily, its recommended to just turn it on when you need it. However I wouldnt turn it on below 20% or so as this charges slow, and doesn't recharge it to the full value ( it goes from about 20-75% for me )Overall the juice pack is nice. It does add bulk, but the curved design fits the hand nicely. The current price is way more appropriate for the build quality of the juice pack, which is no where near $99.00.
