This is the best epoxy ever. It is very easy to use. Make sure to have the right 1:1 ratio. It is definitely self leveling. It has little to no bubbles and the few bubbles you have are easy to remove with heat gun. Most times a heat gun is not required. Drying time varies. From my experience, if you use a heat mat or some type of heating element it will be completely cured in about 6 hours. Be sure to let completely cool before demolding. When you just let it sit and dry with no extra use of a heating element it took about 24 hours to cure completely. I have made several things using this product and it has not disappointed me yet! have been extremely satisfied with this product and refuse to use any other resin. Secondly, you should wear gloves and normally a mask regardless, it is good safety habits for your protection. Third, I am allergic to BPA but have a small business making primarily resin based items and as long as I triple glove and use the products responsibly, there are not hardly any reactions to the resin I have found that state BPA Free or FOOD SAFE! Not the ones saying safe after fully curing, but actually food safe. I agree that no epoxy is 100% BPA free given that it is a primary product that contributes to the hardening and curing process. However, there are products that contain low enough amounts that as long as you are smart, safe and responsible with it, YES you can use the product! Imagine if people who copete in the speacial olympics were told they couldnt compete due to a condition that is beyond their control. Or someone who lost a limbthat they can never walk again. I mean seriously?!?! I believe the question was one that required a simple yes or no answer, but since people decide to voice their opinions discouraging others from doing something they enjoy without understanding the reason for the question, I had the right to chime mine in as well. Maybe the question derived from wanting to know about BPA for food safety reasons and not due to a physical condition that limits the type of product someone can or should use.
