This is definitely a toy that will last forever and kids won't get bored of it, they will find different ways to use it. I'm really happy with this purchase, it's really good quality. The magnets really stay on, the chalkboard writes and erases well and so does the dry erase board. I do feel the need to caution parents that if you are buying this for a younger child you really have to supervise them, it does come with a lot of little pieces and the marker can get messy. I noticed in the reviews that a couple people bought this for very young kids, just be safe an watch them. I bought this for my 2 yr old daughter and I knew she was young for it but she loves putting the animals together and really enjoys playing with it. It would be nice if it came with straps or a case to keep it closed so the pieces don't end up all over the place. Another reason to watch them with it.

If so, the "Lewo Wooden Educational Toys Magnetic Art Easel Animals Puzzle Games for Kids" is almost perfect!The multiple magnetic pieces can be combined to form the animals and figures pictures in a small booklet that Lewo includes in the package - or a child can combine the pieces into wildly imaginative animal forms. My three-year old granddaughter did this and laughed continuously at her creations - as did grandma. A black dry-erase pen having a small eraser top is included for use on the whiteboard. A larger, separate eraser and a two-ended dry-erase would have been more useful. An eraser and three pieces of chalk - two blue and one peach were included for use on the chalkboard; three different colors of chalk would have been nice.The box and whiteboard frame are a softer wood; the edges are sharp and, if a child runs their fingers over the edge, may cause a cut or splinter. I would have been happy to pay a bit more to have the box and frame constructed of plastic. The combination whiteboard and chalkboard top fits into the bottom to form the toy's lid. It sits on a frame rather than sliding into a groove that, if a child turns the toy upside down, would prevent it from falling off and having all the pieces fall to the floor.Regardless of my desired changes in the construction of this toy, the "Lewo Wooden Educational Toys Magnetic Art Easel Animals Puzzle Games for Kids" was a big hit with my granddaughter. I am sure it will be the first thing she wants to play with the next time she comes to visit. Five-stars!

Not impressed really. There are a lot of magnets, but they are very very small. No animals are actually together as a whole magnet, there's tons of random pieces to use to make animals. The dry erase marker does not erase well so we canned that quickly. The magnet side is not very strong and it doesn't hold the pieces on tightly. The case is odd and has no way of carrying it without spilling, or opening without some big people help, or just turn it over and dump it all out. All the pieces of chalk broke in about 3 seconds, too. I'm just not impressed overall. The quality is not good in any of the pieces or the stand setup. Spend the extra couple bucks and buy Melissa and Doug.Update: customer service contacted me very quickly, offering to refund the cost of the easel AND a different toy to try for free. It was a really cute, colorful and solid jenga like game with dice. The kids loved it and it really impressed me to get sick good customer service. I may not buy the easel again, but I'd definitely shop with Lewo again. Thank you.

I can’t recommend these magnets enough (when your kids are old enough to not choke on them.) My 3yo plays with them CONSTANTLY and by herself! Quietly! She enjoyed the first set so much I got her a second set.The set does contain a bunch of small pieces and they are easily lost so we’ve had to make a strict rule that all the magnets get put away every time we okay with it. But she asks to play with it daily. Multiple times a day.I recommend removing the marker/ chalk and storing it separately before you give it to your kid unless you want marker all over your kid’s wall, bed, bookshelf, books, sheets, pillows, and handmade quilt from grandma. Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything...

I bought this out of desperation before a 16-hour road trip to try and keep my hard-to-please three year old occupied. He's not into coloring or stickers (I know!) like his big sister. I didn't have high hopes for this but I was pleasantly surprised by this little kit!I've included a couple photos of how it worked in the car. One challenge to using it in the car was the sloping angle of his car seat meant it was a little difficult to keep the back of the kit propped upright, especially when stopping or starting at traffic lights. I ended up wedging it into place with other things. Also if he dropped pieces out of reach it was sometimes a big deal, so there's that. Still, I was really glad to have it. And we have used it a bunch since then at home, too. His six-year-old sister has enjoyed it, too.

I am loving this product. I bought it for my two year old daughter and she loves it. I only wanted it for the magnet board and not for the dry erase or chalk board aspect so we only use it for that. I also read other reviews about how the black marker ruined their box so I immediately took that out before giving it to my daughter. The magnets as pretty tiny but I actually really like that. This really occupies my daughter and allows her to be/ get creative in a different way from toys like legos. All in all I really love this and think my kiddo will get a ton of use out of it.
