No neutral wire needed either!! Awesome! *by P***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 14, 2013* I was looking for a switch timer since I always leave the bathroom fan on (2+ hours) after a hearty meal mainly because I forget to turn it off. Now I know I don't need two hours to get my bathroom smelling like a bed of roses again. Plus, I needed one that didn't require a neutral switch.The LTT30-1LW works perfectly with my fan and no issues whatsoever. I actually discovered I had a neutral switch buried deep behind all the dusty wires (white wires were actually black because of the soot). Anyways, it works just fine without the neutral and the buttons feel solid. No hum or buzz but then again I am not using a high wattage heater and only just a fan plus light combo). I remember reading a review here that said to slide the small switch at the bottom to the right so that it is on or else the timer will remain off and you'll think you did something wrong. Other than that installation was very straight forward.Functions are very intuitive and if you hit the 30 min timer, a bright LED will go on and internally start counting down. The 15 minute button will light up when the timer reaches that time and so on until the unit switches it off. Everyone that comes over keeps asking what the heck is that switch in the bathroom! Pretty cool looking I think. The good thing is know I'll save a good amount on my electrical bill overtime and heating since the fan won't be pulling as much warm air out of my house. I wish my other friends and families had this in their bathrooms because I know I am guilty of not turning off the bathroom fan myself. Better to waste their electricity then to have them faint on the bathroom floor is my philosophy! Love it! Gonna get two more for the other bathrooms even though one has a window (for those winter months when I can't leave the window open). ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good - if you Understand how it works *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 10, 2017* iMPORTANT! So I tried to install myself. The application was to replace the light switch that turned on/off about 4 lights. I had cfl/bulbs and also tried a couple LED bulbs too. It would hum and flicker (like in a horror movie). I thought maybe I did something wrong and didn't want to burn my house down so I had an electrician come out. Took him a bit to figure out that it needed a 40W or higher bulb "load?" on the first the light it fed, then the rest could be CFLs or LED's. Even if all the bulbs added up to over 40W, it wouldn't work right. That first bulb had to have the full 40+ watts (for resistance?). If we put a cfl in the first light and a 40w in the second- It didn't work right. Hope this saves someone the headache and expense I ended up having. Once that was figured out, it has been working great and serves its purpose. (but made me use more wattage than I planned). I would have given it 4 stars had that been made clear. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not Compatible with LED Lights *by C***1 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 27, 2020* I had a new bathroom fan installed and bought this timer to control it. It worked great controlling the fan, but not the light in the fan. Discovered this switch is only compatible with incandescent and halogen bulbs - the fan has LED lights, so beware when using this timer switch with new fixtures.
