Thought this was an absolute bargain (the value is still good overall) but It''s a very thin coating on wood, nothing like previous platforms I've bought with thick coating on both sides. Usable but would't buy again. I actually thought I would be getting 2 thin mineral perches too but they are wood poorly covered with sand, my fault for not reading! I won't even use those as I know they aren't suitable for my bird who prefers a natural wood or mineral perch for longer use. He does enjoy sitting on platforms and trimming beak but the one's I have are thick mineral covered and have taken some battering and they are covered both sides so I can turn over.
