Works perfectly! *by S***D on September 5, 2024* I purchased this particular style ramp as a way to load my 70# folding e-bike into the back of my Subaru. I considered wider ramps but this one seemed to offer the best option. I only need one track of the ramp and I can roll the bike right into my car. The bike was too heavy to safely load without assist. The ramp telescopes to 10'. It is very sturdy and easily supports the bike weight. Loads easily into the back of my car so is very handy to pull out when I want to take the bike out of the car. The only downside for me, but not a big deal actually, is the single ramp is a little heavy (which by the way accounts for it being super sturdy and that is a plus). Has raised edges which keeps my bike from slipping off. Excellent traction. Buttons to push to retract and expand work really well. Quality is excellent. I came home, browsed thru Amazon and found the Silver Spring telescoping 5-7 ft ramps. I felt that I needed a little bit longer ramps being that my vehicle was higher off of the ground. I place my order and the ramps actually arrived one day earlier than what was scheduled. Upon unpacking and giving them a good look, I found two defects on one of the ramps. I then went to my Amazon order and contacted the seller, providing pictures. The customer service was very prompt in their reply and offered to send a replacement which arrived very quickly. Very well-made and sturdy. My 260 lb scooter with me (180 lbs) on it went up and down these ramps easily. Not even a hint of weakness. They extend and retract easily and are quite lightweight. Most important, though, is the fact that they take up less room in my van. They are much easier for me to handle than the old one-piece aluminum ramp I had before purchasing these.
