We did have to size up one for these, so we went with size 3 instead of 2. That was perfect for my leggy puppy who's only 4.5lbs at the moment. These were fairly easy to put on with one other person helping. My pup has found it pretty easy to get used to, he did a funny dance for about 15 min and now he walks normally. Reward a lot of treats when putting it on and when training with them!Edit* Still love the shoes, just a small warning about the metal ends on the zippers can be a digestion hazard for dogs, especially puppies! I started noticing small metal clamps with sharp edges on them, and couldn't figure out for the longest time where they were from. Later realized that they were from these shoes! They're super easy to pull off, and I'd be concerned if any pup were to pick it off and eat it unfortunately.
