For $4, this is an absolute steal. Here it is in action for my 1 year old for his themed photoshoot. It was perfect.No smelling or issue at all.Quality wise- the goggle eye lenses are blurry, not really good for real seeing. The material is great. Soft and all the stitching good. The inside is a soft sheepy like material that is so cute.My 3 year old has a huge head and it really doesn't fit on hers. Just FYI- so I'd say it's great for 3 and under, might be okay if your kid has small to avg head size between 4-5 but anything beyond probably won't fit.All and all this is a total winner and can't be beat for the price. I searched for an hour on Amazon to find best price. Shipping does take a little bit of time but this actually did arrive earlier than estimated by 2 weeks. But order way in advance(at least a month) if you need it for a special shoot or event.

Excellent value, good quality, lightweight soft faux fleece fabric, durable - we bought it for our newborn in advance because the price was irresistable and he won't be wearing it for awhile, Size is as it was advertised which wasn't important to us at the time of purchasing. The only downside, if that, of this cute l'il pilot cap hat is the attached goggle feature which makes it look a little goofy. The goggles are only for show, they are transparent plastic insets. We bought two for two different babes, one of which is 9 months and we gave it as a gift to his mommy who really liked it too but said she will find a little bomber jacket and will dress him up as a pilot for his first Halloween in a few months.We on the other hand did not have that idea at all and will remove the goggles which are useless really, and our little babe will wear it in winter weather. It makes for a great winter cap for a warm winter day.

The shipping did take about two weeks, because it came all the way from Hong Kong.I am using this for my 3 year old's aviator costume for Halloween, and it's perfect for the very use. The fit is right on, and the bit of elastic on the back of the hat makes it snug enough to keep his little head warm, and stay on comfortably.The goggles are made of pleather, nicely stitched without any loose threads. The backing of the goggles however, is an exposed black foam material, rather than being sewn inside the fabric. It is because of the exposed black foam material I gave 4 stars instead of five.I would not suggest this hat for daily wear, but it is perfect for a night of trick or treating, and even a little one who loves to play dress up.

These are so adorable! They fit my almost 5 year old ( a tiny bit snug) and my 2 year, both on the larger side. The lining is soft. The goggles do have visable foam on the back, but it's not a deal break and didn't bother my 2 year old that wore them for at least 15 min. I got mine with prime and the price was great! We love airplanes in this house as well as Ming Ming the duck from the Wonder Pets so these are a hit! I got them with the planes movie for their Christmas party, but I couldn't wait! If your child likes hats in general , this is. Winner!

Bought this for my baby girl, "Amelia," for wear during winter time. I knew it was a little more costume than utility but I couldn't pass it up for its cuteness. The inside was fleecy and plenty soft for her, the outside fabric was medium-quality. The goggles were cute but after a few wears, started to peel apart in layers. I glued them back together before they got too bad and it's held up since then.I'd recommend it as a costume piece or very limited use. Probably not for really cold climate use.

Standard shipping takes a while, I think ours took about 7-8 weeks to get here since I didn't opt for prime delivery. My baby is 6 months and is in the 50th percentile for her age and this was way too big. I bought it for her 1st birthday as a prop and I think it will work fine for that. The goggles are pretty big and so I think they will be cute just on top of baby's head. The product is soft and it is not going to be durable but is absolutely perfect for what we need it for. You can expect what is advertised.
