They are bright, vivid color, the remote works from a good distance, reaches all around my room (though I did have to use 3). Do note somethings though, 1) They are super adhesive but the adhesive will rip the paint off of your walls. 2) When you connect them together, they seem to lose their brightness and seem to be dimmer so you do you need separate control and plugs for each strand.
