Review: Perfect Slippers - I started to buy slippers 3-4 times as expensive. I have complex foot problems and can only tolerate a few brands. I must have arch support. After reading the reviews, thought I’d take a chance on these, though I expected them not to be very good because they were so cheap. Well, I’ve worn them all day every day for a week. They are amazingly comfortable. The firm support is perfect and does not deteriorate or flatten. They are also soft and cushy. I usually buy medium in width. These were slightly wide for me but the adjustable Velcro strap allowed me to reach the exact width I needed. There’s are no problems keeping them on as I chase after my 1yo grand daughter. When these wear out, I will buy another pair.

I bought a second pair so that I can ~rotate~ them, let them ~air out~ for a couple of days between uses, & ~not wear them out~ so quickly. I was bummed that they were no longer on deep discount sale, when I got my second pair. (My first pair was $6.99, I think; my second pair was $15.99, or thereabouts. Still works out to about $11 per pair, if averaged. Still a VERY good deal, in my opinion ❤️). As often happens, my legs & feet are very ~swollen~ today, & have been for the last couple of days. 😕 Having ~soft, warm, fuzzy,~ STRUCTURED slippers-- that not only ~support~ my poor, aching feet (tormented by plantar-fasciitis, flattened arches, neuropathy, AND heel-spurs 😵) --but that ALSO have an ADJUSTABLE TOP is priceless. I can loosen them, when my feet are swollen & achy. I can tighten them back down, when my feet return to their normal, petite size. **Q: Is the sole gonna get flat in a week like any other regular slippers?**
A: Absolutely not!  I have been wearing these for 2.5mo and they are just like new!  I’ve developed foot problems and was told I cannot go barefoot anymore, even around the house, and that I should buy some Vionic slippers. Well I didn’t want to spend $70 on slippers for that very reason, they wear out to quickly. The Sollbeam looked identical, was half the price and had better reviews. The sole was harder than I expected and wasn’t sure that I would like that at first, but I got used to it right away and they made my foot stop hurting almost immediately... now I just crave them constantly! I wish they made other shoes with the same foot bed that I could wear out of the house they feel that good...can’t wait to get out of my heals and into these at the end of my day!

**Q: Can anyone compare these to the Vionic Gemma slippers? Thank you**
A: dI have both Vionic and Sollbeam.  When new, they are nearly identical. Both are comfortable and have a great amount of arch support.  The Solllbeam is slightly lighter weight. The difference is, the Vionic starts to wear after a few months (4-5). It looses arch support and stretches.  I have been wearing the same pair of Sollbeams since January (9 months) and they have maintained their shape and arch support.  My vote is for Sollbeam!

**Q: Is the arch support significant? I find shoes with a ton of arch support and that high arch uncomfortable.**
A: So do I! The arch support is not as high as other slippers I've had. The lower "profile" is much more comfortable for me.

**Q: what is womens  size 8.5 equal to mens size**
A: Women's size 8.5 = Men's size 7. BUT: Their widths are wider, narrow feet beware. I wear an 8.5 wide, been wide width since little, Men's 7 are a good alternative when I can't find what I am looking for in women's 8.5 wide. Which sadly, turns out to be often, been that way since little.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good investment for heel pain.

After pregnancy I developed horrible heel pain, so bad I couldn’t walk without saying “ahhhhh!!!” with a couple profanities following. Needless to say, I’m glad I found these slippers. From the day I got them, I put them on and haven’t taken them off when in the house. The arch support is great, the sole is cushiony and soft. The material is plush and feels great on my feet. My feet usually hurt every time I sit down and get back up. Those first 10-15 steps here torture. Since wearing these, my feet haven’t felt the pain as intensely as they did before, and it’s getting better and better with each passing day. I think the added support and cushion is giving my feet some much needed TLC. Even though my feet are happy, there are a few downsides. 1) sizing is really weirdly off. I wear a 7.5, and didn’t see that size was offered, so I ordered the next size up, an 8. When I got them, they fit like a 7. My heel was hanging off the back. I returned those and ordered an 8.5. These fit perfect, so for me, I had to size up a full size. I’ve never had to size up that much before. 2) I can see that the cloth on the foot bed is already starting to get matted (it’s been less than a week). But I saw reviews where people said they have thrown these in the wash so I’ll see if that will fix it and bring it back to life. 3) the foot strap is secure, but it feels to have already loosened up, which is not a deal breaker since there is Velcro, but concerning as to whether the strap and Velcro will hold up in the months ahead. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase.
