I gave these a try and they were magical the first time I put them on. I wore them all summer and they felt like I was walking on a cloud compared to other brands. I spent four months wearing them every day walking on tough terrain and sand. They held up well and retained their comfort. I am now using them in colder and winter weather. They are still comfortable and warm. They shed water (rain-snow) very well. It's been at least seven months and they look and feel great. I use black shoe polish which makes them look new again. The only con is that they probably don't breathe as well as they could, but I have no issues with that.
