Patons Classic Wool Yarn, Soft Sprout

This is my first ever knitting project, I’m making a beanie, so I’m not familiar with yarn quality but this has been great for me. Haven’t had any issues with it. However, I will say that this yarn seems much more orange than I was anticipating (I bought the color called ‘Desert’). I thought the color would be more brownish yellow (like the stock photo). That’s my only complaint though!

I bought this to make doll hair. Was able to curl it (strands wrapped in aluminum foil). Does not split. Very impressed.

Older style all merino wool from Patons to match some vintage wool I'm using to knit a sweater.

The blush pink yarn looks a lot darker in the photo than it actually is, so be wary of that. Other than that, the yarn is really soft and pretty :)

Extremely high quality wool I bought for darning rather than knitting so this review will not be applicable to most people. The color was the best I could find. For darning, I wish it were fuzzier and softer, it's pretty firm and tightly plied.

This yarn recommended by knit pattern for an adult scarf. Got gage okay however yarn too delicate for this project ..& stitch definition not great. Thicker denser yarn be better..

I like the texture of the wool. Good for man outfits. I bought one and could made a pair of socks till the ankle for an adult man’s feet. If you will do sth bigger you need more

This yarn was the best, My 100 yr old gram knit me a beautiful hat and mit's I will treasure always, The yarn was very soft but extremely worn well worth the price..
