One of the gifts for my son's second birthday. The locomotive has decent power and acceptable train battery life. It can pull or push a couple-three cars, even up a little hill. It's cute and well-made. The little freight cars, however, are truly adorable: the cement mixer turns as it goes, and the little coal car rocks from side to side. Fits our Melissa and Doug railroad, the locomotive and the car can also be mixed and matched with other trains--Maxim, M&D, and Thomas.
